The content on this site is based on the acclaimed book by our investor education expert, Dan Fournier. His investment guide takes an investing 101 approach to learning, helping beginners start from scratch and professionals go back to the crucial basics.
Fournier has over 20 years of experience in the education sector, including his position for seven years as a Business Instructor at Champlain College in Sherbrooke, Quebec. He has a college degree in Computer Information Systems and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Bishop's University.
With over two decades of experience in education, Fournier has been able to polish his teaching methods in the field of investment. That means that the content on this site isn't just from his experience as an investor, but also as a skilled educator.

The Inspiration
After years of working as an educator, Dan Fournier found himself frustrated with the lack of investor education in most North American schools. There were few, if any, "Investing Basics" courses even at the university level.
As a result, Fournier found individuals teaching themselves through books that were too technical or overly complicated for beginners. The usual outcome was that students became discouraged, or thought the subject matter was just too difficult.
It was this problem in the education system that inspired him to write his Investment Guide. He goes back to basics to make the content accessible to all readers. Now, a lot of these basic principles and expert advice are available to you online through this website.
